Product information

Technical specifications and application details.

Temperature and humidity floor sensor. Sensor specifically designed and built to detect the presence of moisture, snow, and the temperature of the road surface or any other outdoor surface (such as steps, ramps, slides, etc.). Since snow is an insulator, the sensor contains a small electric heating element powered directly by the control unit with a 24V DC supply. The resistor melts the snow deposited on the sensor, allowing it to detect the presence of water or moisture and thus activate the control unit. It should be installed in the most critical area where ice and snow problems are likely to occur. The sensor must be mounted on a solid and stable surface, with the upper part facing upwards. The cable should be connected in accordance with current regulations; the use of a conduit is recommended.
