Overview

The CE516 (programmable version CE516P) is a controller for monitoring toxic, oxygen and flammable gases in industrial plants, designed for up to 16 gas detectors. Unlike the smaller panels it adds RS485 connectivity, which also allows up to two CE380UR remote units to be connected, and it shares the advanced programming environment of the whole CE range.

It is compatible with all Series “SE” and “TS” sensors with 4–20 mA output (plus RS485 on the CE516/532). Setup uses a pre-configured list of pre-programmed detectors, configuration is protected by a 3-level password, and the unit supports AND/OR/PARKING zone logic, a RESET function, a 100-event log on the backlit display, board presence checking and an SD card for firmware updates, data logging and programming backup. Two 12 V 1.3 Ah batteries can be fitted.
